Big fan of Dubnyk.

Hope the kid proves the doubters wrong this season.

He's definitely underrated.

Not sure. Took a hit and went to the back. Best case scenario he just had to take a dump but that's wishfull thinking.

yeah, they really do, and yes you really can. It's all about the story you try to tell behind the numbers and the rationalization for why the story should work.

bad team allow more shots. I'm not saying Dubs is a bad goalie, i'm just saying that his .920 is more indicative of the fact that he faced 40 shots per game than the fact that he'd stop 18-19/20 shots per game regardless of who's shooting.

- BigDre

The flip side of that is that bad teams also give up A LOT more quality scoring chances than your average team.

Actually, he was the one making the hit. He missed, though.

Brilliant rush at the end of the period by Larsen! Like, ridiculously good. If only Hall hadn't flubbed on the carry over into the offensive zone.

Every time I see the replay of Kessel's slashing show I can't help but to think about what a little female dog he is.[/img]

If it was someone even close to his size I would agree but when it Scott monster the first one I understood then next two incidents were pure stupidity. I stated before I think he is still hurting from his grandmothers death and seems to be taking his frustration out in stupid ways.

Same here. He's brilliant offensively and people seem to REALLY be overstating his defensive issues. I'm still torn between him and Fedun for the #7 spot, though. Fedun brings a steadier game and I've only seen him make around 2 mistakes in the 3 games I've watched him play, but he clearly doesn't have the same offensive punch as Larsen.

Larsen is a great puck mover as well. 2x the player potter is

I'm thinking they rotate N.Schultz/Larsen/Belov

I've liked Pitlick's game so far. I wouldn't mind him playing on the fourth line in place of Brown or Eager. In fact, I'd probably prefer him over those other two as it maybe lights a fire under Eager's @ss. Put him on a line with Hamilton/Mac/Eager and Acton and I think he can make up for any lack of speed on the other wing.

Nurse was great tonight yet again. I just hope that management resists the urge to keep him and takes the safe route and sends him down for at least one more season.

I think so too. Larsen looks like what you'd hope Grebeshkov would do. (frank) Grebs is so bad.

Belov looks decent enough too.
