>Think you are correct in your thoughts about Q not liking Morin much
>Also think Morin is one of those players who might score a ton of goals in the right situation>Doubt Q ever makes that happen -- unless injuries do - SnapitUpstairs
Unfortunately for Mr. Morin, the right situation to be a big goal producer is to be on one of the top 2 lines and there is nobody there he can replace unless injuries occur. So for Q, Nordstrom and Hayes look to fit in the bottom 6 better than Morin does. We"ll find out soon enough.

Not if you need to play him less than forty games and you want space to test other young guys in the role. I think that bottom pairing is going to be a revolving door. - Return of the Roar
I hope not. Having to rotate through three different partners won't help Leddy gain consistency. |

Even with the season ending a lot later it was still almost 3 months off and that was just for the final 2 teams. A lot longer for non-playoff teams. How many jobs do people get so much time off? Well teachers do - tomcat24
Nice in theory. The amount of training these guys have to do in the offseason to remain competitive is hardly "time off." |

I'm no pro hockey player so I don't know what they do. I'm sure they work out. I know most of us work our 8+ hours and still workout for a couple hours after or before. Of course I don't get hit and checked 20 minutes a night, either. So who am I to judge |

#3. Jonathan Toews. - robhawks
Who was #1 and #2, Crosby and Ovechkin?
Edit: I see it was Crosby and Malkin, Ovi was #8. Chicago has the most players on the list with 5 (Toews, Kane, Keith, Hossa, and Sharp). |

It is a great time to be a Hawk fan. You have to go back to the early 90's when we had some elite talent. Having Belfour, Roenick, and Chelios being considered near the top at their positions |

Good comment -- was thinking much the same.
I'll just bet if it comes to that, Q might pair Oduya with one of the revolving doors instead of Leddy and pair Nick with Nik (#8 with #4 for those of you scoring at home).
Watching poor Leddy with Brookstank gave me heartburn. Can only imagine having to endure having him paired with a revolving cast of characters. I don't think Q would do that (at least not regularly). Guess we'll see. |

You never know with Q. That's the same guy who kept marching John Scott out on the ice as a defenseman.
Stock up on the Pepto-Bismal just in case Savvy. |

That was a special time as well but this is a better time to be a Blackhawks fan. First, this group is poised for much more long term success. Second, 2 championships so far.
I remember watching us play the Penguins in the final, that was a devastating loss. |

Yeah you can't compare those teams. Championships trump everything. Plus like you said, this group is primed for a lot more success. The run-up to the 92 Finals was amazing. 11 straight wins. But getting swept really harshed that buzz. especially since all 4 were actually really close. They could have gone either way. We just needed more scoring, imo. And Belfour had a habit of choking at times |

I saw all those games at the sportsbooks in Las Vegas. There were a lot of sad people during those games. I still can't believe they only won 2 Cups. Of course mario's injuries plus having a lot of older players hurt their chances. I really see the Hawks getting another 2 titles with Toews and Kane |

Well the ref missing the blatant hook should have gotten an assist on that goal. |

Wanna talk devastating. Try being being up 3-2 in the series and then leading game 7 2-0 at home halfway thru the game only to lose 3-2. (frank)ing hate Henri Richard. |
