I was thinking that maybe Morin has already made the team, so today in practice they want to give Nordstrom more ice time. I don't think we can go wrong with any 2 of Nordstrom, Morin and Hayes.

No big surprised, but I am glad they cleared waivers. It's good to know these guys are available in case of an emergency.

Gretz and Mario were the same way. Been a fan back to the original 6 days. If those guys had to put up with half the stuff players like Richard, Hull, Espo, Orr and others had to put up with, they would be dehydrated by the end of the first period. I omitted Howe cause he dished it out better than he got.

Actually heard Sid give Marc-Andre a glowing vote of confidence. Fleury has excellent regular season stats last few years, but flamed out badly in the playoffs last season as we all know.

I would think Kostka would stay over Stanton, if for no other reason than Kostka would have to clear waivers.

Interesting....with Pirri I'm not surprised, but Morin I am.

Do you know what the lines are in practice today?

Edit: Maybe the coaching staff wants to see more out of some guys (i.e. Nordstrom) before making a final decision.

Once Hossa comes back I would see all the other RWs dropping down a line and Nordstrom ending up in Rockford.

I am fine with either Hayes or Morin as the 3RW, but if I has my preference I'd go with Morin.

Kostka impressed me last year with Toronto and again this pre-season. Looks like he was encouraged to join the rush a lot. Really like what he brings.
