True, but I think he's more likely to be claimed on waivers than Stanton. The 2nd year of Stanton's deal is one way, that may prevent another GM from making a claim.

I really like this years roster. Just hope that Hossa, Handzues and Rozeval can play 50-60 games and be a big factors in the playoffs.

Keys to the season:

Crawford being last year's Crawford, and Bickell APPROXIMATING the Bickell of the play-offs.

New third and fourth lines, 2C, Frolik replacement on PK will sort themselves out.

Article says Beach is 193 cm tall and weighs 93 kg.

At this point, I'd like to see what Nordstrom can do. If he can't cut it and the Hawks need another lower line center that can kill penalties, that shouldn't be too hard ti find.

I was mainly referring to NHL experience. IMO, at some point having more experience at the AHL level becomes a negative. Just my opinion. I don't like the 8 D-men either way.

I gotta be honest. I wouldn't lose sleep if they lost both. Morin is a better option than either one. IMHO, Morin is a better option than Smith. Morin has better offensive tools. The rest of their games is pretty much a wash from what I observed.
