Well, at least we all know that every time the Sabres are involved in a fight this year, they will not put their first line out afterwards. We know for a fact that the Sabres will never put their first line out against a team's fourth line. I'm looking forward to seeing them never do that.

Rule is a rule and especially no on a case by case basis , if it went case by case Boston and Toronto like in every disciplinary situation will be absolved of all blame and suffer no consequences and the rest of the league will suffer and get un favorable rulings , the rule is there in black and white and should be followed to the letter , you leave the bench you're gone for ten , prime example of favoritism , Kessel uses his stick like a Samurai Sword and gets 3 measly PRESEASON GAMES , heard he swing his stick at someone else in another game, well guess what ? NHL said its fine with them by the little slap on the wrist and guess what he will do it again he's done it twice

Only problem I have with this whole gongshow is the Buffalo coach getting fined for "Player selection''!

2 leafs got to tag team a sabre at center ice (no clue who but no it wasn't Scott) as a result of Clarkson's actions while he did absolutely nothing. Defending phil kessel? Pretty sure Phil did that with his stick and the help of 2 guys already. He's an idiot for leaving the bench and if he tries to appeal deserves more games on the grounds of stupidity.

If the players abide by a "code" it would be unthinkable that Scott would do what he did. On the flip side, why would you take the chance? its an argumentative loop, that wouldn't be exhausted if the regular season had already started. Come on puck drop!

What really showed filthy phil's colors is he continued whacking after Scott was tangled with other players.

I agree one chop was enough...

Kessel should have went old school and chopped Scott in the face with the first swing..

"Rocket" would have opened him up with the first swing...

This is off topic but I'd like to ask Eklund how he expects to build up a respectable website with legitimate content when he has a featured writer like Barf... I mean Garth writing unprofessional homer pieces in which he takes shots at former NHL player and now established media personality Jeff O'Neil and calls him a "blow hard" and tells him "to shut his pie hole". He purely writes apologetic nonsense for his beloved Sabres. Most of your writers including yourself are objective, even when they have a clear bias towards their team they still manage to write in a professional manner. Garth does not and he's a complete hack.

see, thats where Ek screwed up, this article shouldnt have been whether or not the ten games was fair, is should have been about how bogus the 3 games was.
