Mr. Young said in a news conference on Monday that oil sands extraction was killing native peoples, igniting a new firestorm in the ongoing battle between proponents who want the massive reserves extracted and an array of opponents who argue that burning the carbon-heavy crude will seriously exacerbate global warming that threatens the planet.

Wind energy is a waste of money and energy (lol). I like solar energy and biomass, though.

Gallagher is getting his chances. Just doesn't bury them.

Might as well slump in the preseason instead of during the season!

Funny how all this environmental garbage comes up about this pipeline.

These nut cases are heavily funded by transportation companies like CN, CP, etc.

Or with the availabilty of high paying jobs for low education employees.

Dad gets a job and manages to hold it.

family gets good solid meals and a roof over their head (as well as windows that are not plywood)

Son having pride in his dad, finishes his high shool education, doesn't expect a handout from the goverment and gets a similar job.

Son's family gets good solid meals and a roof over their head (as well as windows that are not plywood)

Grandson having pride in his dad actually gets a college education.

Yeah, the technology is still not ready for mass production. They'll be able to shrink it enough one day, I guess/hope. I like these new green roofs, too.

Ya, who'd want that?

I'd rather grow some dreadlocks, protest, and smell the poop house door on a tuna boat.

Made out of food (corn)

Yeah.. let's just use food to fuel our cars...

Let's raise the prices of corn and let's burn it in a car instead of eating it.
