Speaking of size, does anyone still consider Kassian big at 210? Kassian doesnt play bigger than his size which is not that impressive for the NHL relative to power forwards. I've been thinking about this whole slimming down business. Forever we get players for one reason and start changing them right away to something they are not.....

Totally agree with your second paragraph, why have him slim down? He's basically going to be a tweener, not big enough to be a intimidating physical power forward and not fast/skilled enough to rely purely on those to attributes to score goals.

I agree, expecting that basically the same team that hasn't been able to achieve the ultimate goal will suddenly be able to achieve it is unrealistic IMO. Nothing has changed on the ice except the "system", which seriously, how different is it really going to be...

Teams should always be shooting high IMO unless your there's traffic in front for a tip/screen/rebound. It amazes me how so many 4th liners in the NHL can't even lift a puck when they have a goalie down.

Nice patience by Lack there, I hate to be that guy but I'm guessing Luongo would be belly flopping if that were him.
