I JUST SAW VORACEK. HE WAS ROLLING HIMSELF OUT OF THE LOCKER ROOM, SAYS HE'S DONE FOR HIS CAREER.

This team needs energy. Based on what you saw tonight is he on the NHL roster day 1(I think if he's not he can't be, right?).

I think Streit was a bright spot.

Baby Schenn, well he has to adjust playing the wing but I hope fans can be patient with him. He might have a tough year.

-Mez looks like he's being held together with 3M tape rather than the generic brand of last year

B Schenn is a good candidate for a 2 year bridge deal. I don't think he's really earned a long big payday yet.

If everyone who wasn't injured and rehabbing in the offseason were firing on all cylinders, maybe you look at "what's wrong with Meszaros?" But of all the guys out there, the only one with a better excuse for a slow start is sitting in a London pressbox helping coach his one-time junior team.
