If we had a first we could swoop in and enjoy their cap problems more and even help them out a bit with it I bet he would sign after Sather called him and his agent a fool twice and he likely wouldn't have to move either. I think he would sign an offer sheet with us over Calgary just for the fact that he won't have to get used to a new environment and city but it's a moot point cause we don't have a 1st. Does anyone know if we where to acquire one would we then be able to offer sheet a player or do the picks have to be you're own?

He deserves it...Can't blame the players it is on the GM.

I agree he has shown some early rust for sure. He hasn't been that great the last few season either he has kept us in game but you really got to wonder if this is the year he goes from good to average.

He looked pretty good to me last night. Maybe could of had that first goal but it was a PP and Pactioretty was killing it last night. Greene got beat bad on that second goal. It's funny but not really that almost all the defensive miscues in preseason have been the vets while Larsson, Gelinas, and Urbom have all been playing well. Especially Larsson he's looking great.

I think the only exception is Greene he has been pretty bad. We all know what Greene can bring and will be good come the start of the season unlike the other guys who we know are just going to bring us down all year.

it happens. lots of teams "B" teams beat other team's "A" teams in the preseason and its because vets have there places locked in
