I think any way you look it at, Tinordi's going to get his chance, and it won't be long.
- EricEngels

agree, but this team is just too small and way, way too soft not to find room for him from the start.

He was injured in the first day of camp, they probably want to see him in action?

I don't like that second line one bit.

Eric, I don't understand why Scott should be suspended.
- Pecafan Fan

he didn't get the chance he was looking for, which would've made it a sure thing, but the league can't allow a goon like him to sack one it's best players and just start punching away.

he didn't just instigate a fight, he initiated a brawl. he knew that would be the result with what he was doing. and it would be one thing if he were after payback for something dirty, but he wasn't.

Rolston should be suspended for sending him out there to do that too.

if Tinordi is sent to Hamilton as part of the numbers game, this organization is doing itself a disservice and will be making a mistake. i understand that depth is important. terrific. but the "depth" guys you're referring to are a dime a dozen and can be found on the street or acquired throughout the year for a pittance (i.e. Drewiske last year). it would be ridiculous to send Tinordi to Hamilton for an extra 2 months just so that we can avoid the risk of losing Davis Drewiske or Rafael Diaz.
- scotch_tape

With Markov, Bouillon and Murray in the lineup, Tinordi will be in Montreal before Christmas. Wouldn't be surprised if he played at least 30 games in the NHL this year, and he'll be a regular in 2014.

Actually, as long as the league allows fights, there's no reason why Scott deserves to be suspended. It doesn't matter if Kessel is a good player or not. The rules can't be made on a who-fights-who basis.

IMO, want to send a message, suspend the coach, not a player of zero value like Scott. you think a suspension will deter guys like that?

48 games schedule, in which the PP was on fire to start the season and other teams facing a team that finished 15th in the conference.

They aren't making the playoffs unless Price plays over his head.

i would hope, even if he is sent down, that he gets more than 30 games. it's not like this is a stacked team and he just can't break in. he's made it abundantly clear that he's one of the 6 best defensive options. at some point, that has to factor in.

Bourque - Plekanec - Prust.
Pacioretty - Desharnais - Brière.
Galchenyuk - Eller - Gallagher.
Moen - Bournival - White

- Pecafan Fan

Bournival has really done his job so far trying to force management to keep him around.

i see a lot of projections that have us in the playoffs and even finishing in the 4-5 range. i'd love to see it, but i just don't. that said, i also have little faith in Price at this point.

Much like Colton Orr and George Parros, John Scott is of great value to his teammates and guys like that can change the momentum of a game at the swing of a fist.

You didn't see the Sabres comeback after that brawl? they were all over the leafs and were triumphant in the end!

Bournival is also making it clear he deserves a spot in the lineup before Moen, but he'll probably be sent down. This is unfortunately not about who deserves it the most.

Dumont has been disappointing so far.
