It totally is lol...calling Scott the best "cop" in the NHL? We get it, he's almost the size of Chara, doesn't make him the best enforcer in the league.

I'm close to deleting the thread if he continues.

Yep, which is why I asked for a new blog with who has stood out thus far, opinion on who might stay etc...

Enough of this, wait until there is an actual ruling on suspensions, then blog about it and why it came down and thoughts.

You have no way of knowing how his actions will affect the team, dont pretend you do

Those 10 games seem to matter a lot to the other teams fans who now want to flock to the leafs thread to tell us how important he is to the team. Before last night it was a terrible signing by the leafs.

That said..I predicted the leafs would miss the playoffs anyways...

In not trying to insinuate anything.

Merely stating my opinion that each players thoughts should revolve around whats best for the team.

I think Kessel and clarkson both reacted in the heat of the moment, and while their are redeeming qualities about their actions they were both dumb moves that shouldn't have been done.

Clarkson didn't stick up for anyone. Scott was never anywhere close to actually putting Kessel in any real danger. Not to mention the 5 other guys on the ice that were already in the process of sticking up for Kessel.

Garth is a troll. He has been doing it for awhile. Everyone hates it but it drives hits.

I am so happy he got bounced from the main page to "Garths Corner"

I don't usually rag on bloggers, but Garth needs to proofread what he writes. Spelling errors in words he used all caps for "ITIMIDATE" you should porbably spell the word right if you're drawing attention to it.

And he called Kessel a 40 goal scorer, which he isn't. He's never hit 40...I'd love him to, and the compliment is appreciated, but it takes away from the blog's validity if some "facts" are wrong.

- Domaju

That was a horrible blog. Seriously, what the hell was that?

Should bloggers here have no accountability at all? Sure you want freedom of speech and let the bloggers speak their minds and do their thing, but you have to draw the line at some point.

Is our awful post secondary educational system why all you Canadians come down to the states for good medical care?
- Lampy823

We go down to see the Canadian doctors who've moved down there so they can milk your stupid healthcare system for more money, then move back here when they retire.

Scott is good at his job.. but the best? no, i dont think so

Kessel was in the wrong for his stickwork.. but Scott should never of tried to fight him in the first place.

emotions boil over.. thats what happened.. on both sides

Actually, it's more like you have nothing on the Cup. Our team is on there, engraved. Sorry, but this arguement won't end well for you no matter how you try to tackle it.

We are a part of NHL history. You guys...well...seriously...wtf have the Sabres contributed to the NHL?

- Gunslinger

Like the Pittsburgh Pirates in MLB, the sabres act as a developmental team for the rest of the league when their players hit their primes

yeah.. i would stand by that decision.

its going to be bad enough dealing with posters bringing it up non stop.. dont need it from the bloggers

i was guilty of venting this morning about it but its out of my system now

I agree. I said earlier this morning that the first slash by Kessel I actually don't mind because I would do the same thing and Scott is a giant and Kessel doesn't fight, it was a reaction probably. But the 2nd slash and the spear at the end was uncalled for.

when i looked at it again the first slash was a 2min minor at best.. the second one and the spear are suspendable imo.

Well that's exactly my point. Colton Orr trying to get after Gionta is OK, but Scott going after Kessel isn't.

Know what I mean?

I agree on the 1st slash for sure.

I'm not sure if I'd say suspendable. I'm torn on it. I definitely think there should be a good fine. Suspension, I don't know. Not a repeat offender, heat of the whole situation, they may give him a slap on the wrist.

Clarkson getting suspended isn't a bad thing?

Bourque didn't even take off his gloves, he was just there to break the fight.
