It can be rescinded by the league.

I believe more attention should be placed on Clarkson - out for 10 games and I believe forfeits his salary for that time frame as well - this will have a bigger impact on the Leafs than the 3 or 5 games that Kessel gets

He has to get a least a game or two. No matter what happens on the ice you can't have players swinging sticks.

As long as there is fighting in hockey, then the likes of Orr and McClaren are needed on a team to protect against the silliness that happened last nite.

This is why Carlye has both of them on the team.

And this is why the likes of Colbourne and Ashton won't be on the team

Ashton has some grit to his game...hes done well in those situations and was the first to jump Scott I believe.

B) Clarkson deserves the 10 games he will get....it was simply foolish to leave the bench, but I get why he did it.
C) Kessel should be suspended for two handed Scott on the angles...you should never swing your stick like that at someone....3 pre season games max.
D) Kessel filling in Flynn was freakin great to watch.
E) A goalie fight...yes a goalie fight....that was great to see! Good job Bernier!
F) No sense trying to assume what Kessel did or didnt say...for now you cant prove anything and you just look foolish.

I was 51% Reimer 49% Bernier before last night....now I'm 60% Bernier 40% Reimer. Either I way I am 100% not worried about our goaltending....when was the last time we could feel that way?

Clarkson missing 10 games will suck....but from what I've seen so far it really isn't going to suck that much lol he really hasn't done a whole lot in these preseason games that have made me think oh damn we'll really miss him. He's looked about as useful and effective as Ashton - so it's a wash and we'll win the day!

I am guessing he gets 4-5 games. Remaining 3 pre-season, and 1 or 2 regular season games. And he deserves it. I understand he is not a fighter, and that was a ridiculous mismatch, nut there are other options. The stick crap has to stop.

Ashton has made it through his play, imo, helps with a little more grit than Colborne would. Raymond now needs to be signed to give them a little extra offence in Clarkson's absence, balances it out a bit.
