Yea his wife is from Minny and he went to college there. Miller and Avs make sense. Only issue is the Avs don't have pieces that are desirable that they would give up. I really don't want Statsny which was a rumor

Maybe a first and prospect but miller makes no sense in the same way as statsny makes no sense for the sabres.

Thing is though Schneider got the 9th overall pick, not just a first rounder. And while obviously older Miller is more accomplished and is proven. I don't think Schneider has played 50 games in a season yet.
Problem is for the Sabres they absolutely can't let either player walk for nothing. If they need to take less than they should its what they have to do

I believe a 1st rounder 2014 and Varlamov should do the trick to obtain Miller. Thus you arguably get a decent pick hopefully and a goalie who is same age rougly as enroth.

I think his first chop was warranted but the second hack and lil spear were unnecessary, so 3-5 or remainder of the preason +1-2 regular would probably be fair.

When the last time you ve seen a 3-5 game suspension for a slash or spear?

What does it matter if people feel like they would do the same thing? You can't go around taking golf swing slashes at other guys like that. Using your stick as a weapon should be a pretty big suspension. Clarkson will get his 10 games, Scott might get a game, Kessel should get 3-5.
