You should never have to wonder if someone is going to try to mug your best player when you put him out on the ice, period. Kessel isn't a dirty player, he's not skating around the ice taking cheap shots and trying to hurt people, so he's off limits. That should go for any team's skilled guys. It probably didn't even occur to Carlyle that Scott might do something that scummy.

They have to dress him because if they don't then someone else has to deal with Orr. It was probably killing him to have to watch that from the press box. He's going to want his pound of flesh so Buffalo might as well toss their most useless player at him.

I've never been to Buffalo for medical treatment. But those who have done it do so because Americans can't afford health care, so there is no wait to be treated.
