It's not like Gagner and RNH are gone for the season. They'll come back flying, and the Oilers can weather it. It's not that bad. I think Oilers make the playoffs this year and I stand by that.

If we can sign a solid 3rd or 4th line guy who can win draws and not be terrible I think we can get through the first month not too far back.
Even if we bring in Smithson on a two way contract it would allow us to leave Arcobello in the AHL.

Disagree with you Ryan G on the need for an enforcer.

You yourself said we would now have a couple guys who do not belong in the NHL in the roster, so what difference does it make if that guy who doesn;t belong is an enforcer rather than another small player?


In the end two guys are playing that should not be. I would rather have the bruiser who can at least stand up for his team mates instead of the runt who can't score at this level.
