Kinda like Jacksonville, not really a football team but someone has to play them every week.

This is fukking brutal - two hearings from a pre-season game.

Years ago, they just fought, some pre-season games had like 4-5 fights.

Edmonton should find an enforcer.

It's not so much what he did here as much as it's what we gave up to get him.
- Dangles13

Now now, we all know that wasn't exactly a normal situation. Considering bright lights give you-know-who crippling migraines these days I have no bitterness. besides, one of the draft picks turned into Eberle and we got Smid as well.

Yes. Macleran and Orr were the main reason the Leafs made the playoffs*.

Shooting percentage last year: 26.2%

Here comes the crash.

EDIT: Unless of course he only moves his stick on tap-ins.

No way. Totally sustainable for many years.

Team effort, but they did play a role, albeit not the bigger one. They did what they were supposed to do, and fortunately for Toronto, it worked out for them.

With a young roster like Edmontons, and the skill among them, there should be a couple of guys making sure other teams don't take liberties.

Anyways, I got RNH and Hall in my pool and was really hoping the Oilers would have a good season. They still can. Hopefully the GM is making some phone calls right now for some depth, especially up the middle.

I hear you it's just I'm not sure the enforcer really stops Hall getting run every now and then.

The Oilers do need to get tougher all round though...

Yeah one thing the Leafs certainly created last year was a tougher team identity for sure.

BTW, Weise's hearing is via telephone, NHL has requested in person hearing for Kassian.

Everyone really does need to calm down. The November 1 projection for RNH was a worst case scenario, and by all accounts it is not that.

Like I said earlier, a huge portion of the fanbase included him in every trade scenario under the sun and other teams fans harped on about how useless he was, now all of a sudden they can't live without him lol. The truth as always, lies in between. Missing Gags for a bit will hurt somewhat but they'll be ok.
