We don't really have a scrapper except for Carter and Bernie. Dont want a useless plug like Cam or Barch on the team. Although i give it up to barch fought 3x the other night. Takes a lot of balls.

That does but I wish we had a guy who could win fights I like when someone sticks up for a team mate but you got to come away with the win. I like having a tough team it means a lot to me for whatever reason. I also think we could use a legit heavy weight for the odd game with the amount of rookies we could have come in and out of the line up this season and so a guy like Clowe doesn't have to. I think Janssen is a good fighter but he looked like crap in the Rangers game. It would be a dream come true for me if we could land a Lucic or Stewart those are my favorite type of players and there isn't many of them.

Yeah not too many of those guys floating around... Barely any Clarky was like a step below those guys. Not as good as them in skill or fighting but he did his part. Clowe's gonna have to be that guy now, he's bigger and more of physical prescenes then clarky. Clarky had all the heart just doesn't have the size to go with it to really oppose his will on his opponents like Lucic can.

Im not worried about him and wont be until the season starts if he doesn't play a certain amount of games we only pay him 2 million so it's just as much a loss to him as it is us. Especially when I think we have looked pretty good so far and that is without him.

The pp though still sucks. He will help it so much. He's got great vision and passing skills still. Regardless of how slow he is he can still make players around him better.

I just read something about Clowe being on it as he was a staple for San jose for five years and it was always ranked top 5 in the league and its Matt Shaw from San Jose running our PP now. It also said something along the lines of Clowe and Kovy having similar amount of PP points over the last 200 games. But I agree Jagr could be an upgrade on the PP for sure with his hockey sense and smarts.

No but it was a lot worse last year Obviously we aren't going to set Pk records every year but it was average last year. I want us to hurry up an sign Brunner then make a trade I think teams are getting close to knowing what they have and need so a few trades might start happening. Likely nothing major but Prospects that teams are giving up on and what not that might need a second chance somewhere else.

Yeah it shame since he's the most useless imo. I hate to see it cause i've always liked him but he was brutal last year.
