Okay well let me make some corrections here. First off, Matthias will NOT be the #1 center on this team. Not gonna happen. He will play wing on the 2nd/3rd line because Drew Shore will be playing center on the 3rd/4th line. Gomez will be the 2nd line center if Dineen has any brains. The centers will be Barkov, Gomez, Shore, Goc. Most likely in that order. Matthias is a better winger and Shore is just a natural center.
We won't be seeing Gilroy because A) he hasn't been playing or practicing at all and B) Mike Mottau and Alex Petrovic are ahead of him on the chart. Crabb won't fight and we will see him and Bobby Butler or Jesse Winchester dress for 4th line time. I think it will be Winchester because the coaching staff love him.

Sort of a fun discussion so I will chime in!
Listed at RW are Kopecky, Versteeg, Boyes, Butler, Crabb, Pinizotto, Winchester. If Shore is to play wing on his strong hand he would play RW as well as a right handed player.
Listed at LW are Bergenhiem, Fleischmann, Upshall, and that is where Huberdeau played last season as well (he is left handed as well). Matthias is a left handed player as well if he is moved off of center.
Centers of course can include Gomez, Goc, Barkov, Matthias, Shore, or Winchester
I doubt highly that they will put Barkov on the top line this season, or if they do it would be late in the season. Why subject him to the other team's top lines as a rookie? That did Shore no good last season. Because of that I suspect Goc or Matthias will get the 1st line center spot. If Versteeg is healthy I'd suspect we may see a 1st line of Huberdeau, Matthias, Versteeg, 2nd line of Flash, Barkov, Kopecky, a 3rd line of Bergenhiem (if healthy) Goc, Boyes, and a 4th line of Upshall, Gomez, Butler. Any injuries and Shore enters that lineup, otherwise he may start in San Antonio.
Butler has had a great pre-season and shown a scoring touch and offensive ability, I think they give him the opportunity to work his way out of the lineup to start due to our previous offensive disability!
