I think generally they'll go with the intent but so much of the NHL is a PR stunt that the optics of an injury add more weight I'm guessing. And it is a guess as there's nothing consistent about Shanabans or anyone else dishing out the suspensions.

Kessel deserves at least two maybe three. He was using his stick to fight.

Kassian I doubt was an accident. I think he meant to hit the guy across the arm but instead hit him in the chops. Because of the dameage and Canucks rep with the NHL I think he gets 5

Yeah, my guess is between 3-5 for Kassian. Nevermind the team, he has a rep himself. The (frank)in guy got kicked out of junior hockey.
