Is the live feed link up yet because the other day I went on the website and couldn't find the link. I don't want to have to watch under the devils site again.

When you originally go to the website do you click on the enter link? That takes you to the islanders home page and the link is right there

You might have missed the slightly obscure play button on the homepage the other night. It's there right now, but there's no feed to watch yet.

Oh I was expecting a link that says watch live like the Flames and devils had. Didn't know I had to click play

Well I was wrong a little, right now it's just a stupid preview video with some interviews. But the link for the live stream the other night looked exactly the same. There's just an easy-to-miss play button over a picture just like that screenshot.

No problem Live feed is up now, if you were wondering. Just a "please stand by" thing, but the link is there.

Shortened season or not, he's a 20 goal scorer, who would have had 30+ last year. The Rangers would likely match the offer, but they'd have to rid themselves of a roster player to do so. Its worth the chance at landing this kid. As I said before, if nothing else it adds an asset to this team which could be used as trade material down the road for say a top tier goalie, or PP dman

Boyes was a 40-goal scorer, ONCE. I sank a hook shot from the opposite free throw line and drained 14 3-pointers in-a-row, ONCE.

There were other opportunities to acquire proven talent without risking as much in return, including the ire of a team with bigger pockets. Im one of Garth's biggest critics but I am siding with him not to do this, along with 30 other GM's. If anyone did, Sather would waive the highest paid 3rd or 4th liners to make room. He doesn't want to do that to his new coach and I don't blame him.

How can you hate AMAC? Is he a first pair dman......no. But, the kid can log minutes, he's a great skater, moves the puck well, and isnt afraid to block shots. He's a steal for what he's getting paid.

And he is a Very good partner to Hamonic.

Agreed. This kid has spark and is extremely talented. Unfortunately the injury history has led to a Brian Savage like existance (good stats when playing, but rarely playing).
One thing you can see with Garth Snow is that he has a very detailed inventory of the types of players he wants. He replaces players with other players who possess a similar skillset. I think he choose a guy with fantastic hands like Bouchard because it's ultimately allowing Tavares and Moulson to play with THAT TYPE of guy. By the time Stome hits the top line wing spot, there will be a natural chemistry due to their experience with Bouchard.
I think for most of the folks who haven't seen him play, you're going to be very pleased with the dynamic of this top line. Personally, believe he'll be a bigger hit than *gasp* PA Parentau....(ducks to avoid flying tomatos)

Don't say that on here. Bouchard sounds like the brightest idea to most on this thread.

Why is it a bad move? Why is it so bad to have Strome play a full season in the AHL?

It's pre-season, a clean page and dreams are alive. From your lips to gods ears, I hope. Let's hope he's more like PA than say...Rob Schremp, who also had great hands...

Why do you assume Strome is gonna be a wing? Yes, he will be the next most talented forward but like JT, he's a playmaker. They gave up on Bailey at center but too soon to assume Strome will follow suit. I wouldn't have minded seeing Bailey given a real shot on 1st line with JT.

It's very simple- if they are going to play an up tempo, speed game, then they need to out skate teams who can't skate with them. Just for one example, there are maybe 2 or 3 players on Philly who can skate with our boys, and yet they beat the Isles a lot more often than they should, because the Flyers drag them into a slow motion struggle, and win with their size. The Isles need to get that they can't let teams do that to them- the Devils did it to them for MOST of period one, until they picked it up near the end.

The JT line and the Nielson line don't seem to be getting as much playing time as I would think they would. Must be precautionary.
