he's pretty adamant that because grabner had a higher goals per 60 than nash last season, then grabner was clearly the better goal scorer.

by his logic, he also believes that due to tavares' goals per 60, JT is the worst out of all 3.

unless he's trying to argue that that stat only means that in relation to grabner and nash but doesn't apply to any other player?

i forgot that grabner has 7 30+ goal seasons, 2 40+ goal seasons, and a rocket richard to his name.

my reasoning is that now that he's familiar with the team and the players and will be centered by the most talented center he's ever played with in a much more offensive system than what torts had him play in, he will put up a career high in goals, which means scoring more than 41.

although i will say that richie looked good in his 1st preseason game. way too early to tell if he'll rebound but i think it's possible.

Stepan is a 2nd line center and who knows when you guys will even sign him. No offense but you guys act like torts was holding the rangers back. I would argue he allowed them to overachieve especially in the playoffs. Torts was a good coach.
