connolly is making it harder for drouin to make the lightning this year

I don't think so. Even with Drouin in the conversation, most people felt that there was one more winger spot up for grabs. Most people had Panik or Palat penciled in, but I'd say that Connolly is outperforming both of those guys right now.

The guy went 15/24 (63%) in the F/O circle and added three assists. A damn fine performance.
