never used it back then... fairly new to webdesign.

All I know is that I hate every wysiwyg editor.

yep im the bad guy - but here is how graphic design works...

i go to school for 3 years.

i know how to do it, have a job, etc...but there is tons of work on the side i COULD do.

problem is, everyone can get a copy of photoshop and Richard around, to the point where people feel...hey, i can do this, i dont need a graphic artist.

then guess what, half the work being done out there is absolutely poop and some chump is getting paid 100 bucks to do a 500 dollar job.

the end result, the info is there and its done..but guess what, its horrible.

you dont see me going up into scientific labs doing tests with beakers n poop just because i know how to boil water and put the bunson burner on.

TONS of graphic designers are either out of work, or have to take a job on for cheap just to get the job, because if not, some sally jessie is going to put it together for half the price with half the talent.

so yeah, as lou said, it comes with the territory.

dont get me wrong though, i dont frown upon people using it and designing things, especially for fun or a favor.

there is my rant.

with that said (and I completely agree), McLaren has the broken pinky - so he'll be out for a little while.

I thought Devane handled himself okay against Kassian in last nights affair, with Kassian being one of the bigger guys around. I thought Kassian would be deemed the winner in that one, but Devane didn't get knock on his ass... and he didn't seem to tire out either. The real reason I mention this is because it would appear the kid can skate as well... here's hoping he gets a shot with the injury to McLaren

i am thinking colborne will be left up so they dont have to risk the waiver wire with him

So in other words, I'm basically a pro.

ahhh...that's almost every profession...always a amateur trying to make a buck on the side...carpenters/tree cutters/mechanics..etc etc etc.

I get what you're saying though

(frank)ing guys with jobs like Fireman etc are always out moonlighting stealing other peoples work...(frank)ing fire guys works like 8 days a month and moonlight the other (frank)ing 20.

Yea, it was douchy... especially since I learned my stuff doing exactly what he's doing: designing random things for poops and giggles, and learning new features as I went along.

edit: I'm one of the guys big-d just went on a rant about

yup... and the learning curve is exponential. Spending a day learning one thing lets you learn 5 more things the next hour. It's insane how things flow.

I doubt he agrees to that without looking at the open market.

Which is why me thinks he gets moved

I have a feeling that Colborne will be "seeing" a lot of ice time this year, given the above.

Dregger's comment was he makes the team or they trade him.

Ashton is making the team, especially with McLaren out. Raymond is making the team.
That's 13 forwards.

Colborne is 14 at this point, and even at 600K they don't have the cap for that - would carry a D instead of 2 forwards.

Only way I see him staying is if Orr can't go for opening night either. But he's skating now right?

I don't think Nonis is ready to hitch his wagon to the Dion cart for the long term.

If he wants to win a Cup I really don't see him as the guy leading you there.

Find out soon enough what Nonis thinks I guess

cause even trolls can rub 2 braincells together and realize it's preseason and not worth the risk.

And Carlyle's probably lying. Certainly wasn't Bernier's Knee the trainer was working on when he was on the bench start of the 2nd period. Looked like his right shoulder to me... and... late in the period he went sprawling for a puck and stretched his arm out pretty good.

1 + 1 = it ain't his (frank)ing knew

I dont know...its tough given that hes the captain and Carlyle obv loves him...if he could be used "less" than he would be so much more effective, but hes over played and it hurst his production I find. Still young(er) for a defender either way, so I suppose he could still improve...but I dont think the Leafs should extend him much more than around the 6M mark. My 10 cents.
