Friends, hello. I will not wish death on somebody named Tee Dot. I will not poke fun at somebody tucking in their sweaters. I have learned my lesson. I hope you all are well.

If they could move Liles and all they had to add was Colborne, that's done like dinner...

He's not gonna make the team. Unless he's lights out over the next couple games, it's over.

Liked him, seemed to have a lot of tools, but can't wait forever. That's why there's no waivers - give him a shot somewhere else.

- Big_Lightnin

He'll breeze through waivers. He's not an NHL player.

I don't think I agree. He's still young, he was a first round pick, he's a center, and he's got lots of size. I don't see him as an NHL player either but I know that there are a lot of people in the league who probably think they can turn his career around.

Anyone who claims him will have to give him a spot on NHL roster...I think he would clear..

do you know the difference between your mom and a washer?

the washer doesn't follow me around for three weeks after I put a load in it.

He's 23 and two of his seasons were screwed due to a wrist injury.

He's 6'5" and plays centre.

For the love of Spinner's dad, why are Leafs fans trying to run this guy out of town?

For Carter Ashton? McLaren?

Is this your first week cheering for the Leafs?

Sheesh.

In no way whatsoever do i think mac is a better fit. Ive liked what ive seen, just ment he can play 3rd line and b a temp fill in. Especially at a low cap hit, he can b a useful utility player
- kylkri

Raymond is already better, or at least more impactful, than Mac due to the fact Raymond can actually kill penalties...and effectively.

The better question is why he should be kept in town, at this point. Completely unimpressive, and without his ability to avoid waivers, there simply is no room for projects on this roster. Would I dress McLaren over him? You (frank)ing bet.

Flyers sign Matt Read to a four-year, $14.5 million contract extension.

If the Leafs had the Flyers money Franson would already be signed

I'm not saying he's terrible. Just that for someone to claim him they'd have to keep him on their roster and I think it's unlikely he's ahead of their own prospects.

He'd clear.

I agree. At least Mclaren serves a purpose. Colborne is incosistent and plays with no compete. He's a poor mans Nik Antropov at most and he hasn't even reached that level yet. I'm fine with having him as the extra forward or sent back down to the Marlies. If someone claims him than big deal. For a guy battling for a spot he needs to be playing with an edge like it was playoff hockey. He looks asleep out there.
