oh ya Percy was very good last night.

He did have a couple "Holy poop that's Jason (frank)ing Spezza and Bobby (frank)ing Ryan" moments, but other than that was really good I thought.

I could see him taking some PK time perhaps, but thats about it...he likely wont be top pairing guy in my opinion, doesnt appear to have the foot speed.

they do...big Gio!....I think hell do a solid job, good character guy who worked his way into a full time NHLer after being invited to camp years ago. Not everyday something like this happens.

That is not good at all. Blacker , Granberg and Holzer are the only Right Shots on the depth chart at all.

Blacker's close, but pretty clear Granberg's going to need a lot of time in the AHL.. maybe the full year

Yep, that's been bothering me too. I think Nonis could acquire a RHD if he was willing to do what's necessary. I.E. Packaging Colborne, Liles, and a decent draft pick for taking Liles contract.

I want to stress that I don't think you'd get a game-breaker, just someone who can do the job and happens to shoot right handed.

ya but Gardiner is better offensively, and Ranger will insulate him. Gardiner will get more minutes than Liles, I'd bank on it.

plus I think they are more comfortable with Liles playing out of position rather than Gardiner... (so I should have had that Fraser-Liles, with Liles on RD)

No, but from what Ive seen so far I find Gunnar to be a better suitor for Phaneuf....but Ive only seen a little of Ranger so far so Ill hold off from too much judgement until he gets a few games in.

I'm not the only fan that thinks he is way overrated...sure he sucks up lots of minutes..he gets beat like a rented mule lots too!!!!

I would only replace him if Ranger/Franson/Gunner/Gardiner pick up their games, but I wouldn't give him a raise or sign him long term but hey...I know you like him and it's ok to disagree!!!!
