That's fine but Khudobin only got a one-year deal ($800,000.). We could have matched that or added a few bucks to make sure we had a solid tandem this year, then deal with those six next off season.

In preparation for Saturday’s game at Barclays center, the LIRR will be updating their web site and tweeting some travel tips to help fans take the train to the game. Below are some pointers to help fans get to and from Atlantic Terminal as efficiently as possible on Saturday.

• In addition to the connecting service available to branches throughout the railroad by changing at Jamaica, customers looking for direct service to and from Barclays Center with no change at Jamaica should consider the Hempstead Branch or the Far Rockaway Branch, both of which provide one-seat ride service to and from Atlantic Terminal.

• Far Rockaway trains depart Far Rockaway at :50 after each hour, arriving at Atlantic Terminal at :42 after the hour. For the 7:00 PM start of the Islanders game, customers may wish to take the 4:50 PM train from Far Rockaway, arriving Atlantic Terminal 5:42 PM, or the 5:50 PM train from Far Rockaway, which arrives Atlantic Terminal at 6:42 PM. Returning east after the game, Far Rockaway trains depart Atlantic Terminal at 9:22 PM, 10:22 PM or 11:31 PM.

• Hempstead Branch trains depart at :13 after each hour, arriving at Atlantic Terminal at :07 after the hour. For the 7:00 PM start of the Islanders game, customers may wish to take the 4:13 PM train from Hempstead, arriving at Atlantic Terminal at 5:07 PM, or the 5:13 PM train from Hempstead, which arrives at Atlantic Terminal at 6:07 PM. Returning east after the game, Hempstead trains depart Atlantic Terminal at 9:45 PM, 10:50 PM and 11:55 PM.

• Customers who prefer to travel to or from their nearest branch and change at Jamaica have multiple options, including extra Brooklyn-Jamaica service after the game to provide more convenient connection options. See the Barclays Service brochure for schedules and connections for the trip home.
