And i dont agree that he's unequivocally better than either of hall or getzlaf.
Both outscored him last year in a more defensive western conference.
Hall has a better career ppg. And getz has a ring. And has also put up some huge numbers multiple times.

Guys on here are talking about RNH contract like it's coming out of our pockets. We have an owner that couldn't spend all his money if he lit it on fire. The cap is going no where but up, in 2-3 years 6mil a year for any 1st line center will be the norm never mind a 1st overall that in my opinion will be in the upper end of league scoring.

I'm not a fan of that contract(this early) but I'm a fan of RHN. I just think it's a bit too ealry to give him it that's all which i think most of you guys would agree with? He is going to be a great player barring injuries that could happen to any player. The contract is an example of taking a chance on saving money in the later years. With your team having buyouts available if anything catastrophic happened you'd have a get out of jail free card anyway. With that said in the long run I predict there won't be an Oiler fan unhappy with it in a few years. It's a weighted risk.

Is what it is. I would never say Jt is a better player than gretzky but as crazy as this sounds to most of you I'm sure there is not a player in the league I'd trade Jt for. Including Crosby. I'm not a fan. In fact I dislike him. Irrelevant anyway. I was responding to incorrect information and in the process put some up there myself

Ummmmm RNH is a stud and imo will end up being the best out of all of them. He has Sedin like vision but with a better shot and skill.
