Young Adam Erne had himself quite the night on Wednesday night. Erne is doing everything in his power to earn a roster spot in Tampa. He's a big, skilled forward who likes to mix it up and light the lamp. Erne has been compared to John LeClair, the Philadelphia Flyers bomber/scorer. Erne, the Connecticut native, is making quite a name for himself. Several teams, including Buffalo, liked Erne, however, the Blues invested their second-round pick in (33rd overall) in the 2013 NHL Draft.

Now I understand why Hitch and the rest of the Blues are upset with Erne...he's hitting the wrong guys...geeez LMAO

My take from that is that they are testing the waters. We could potentially get a nice return for enroth if they choose to use hackett. So many teams need a solid goalie. Enroth could be trade bait. I'm not against that.

Oh for sure he'll play next game. Just saying that IMO they is a good battle for backup between hackett and enroth, even tho they might not see it that way. Hackett has been impressive.

What a lame lineup to put out infront of the home fans for the first time, no zemgus, no foligno, no McCormick, no kaleta, aside from tropp, no one to fire this team up and put on a good show for the home crowd, awesome glad I picked this pre-season game as the one to go too.

Can still use them on the top 2 lines and then use the 3rd and 4th lines for the other players I mentioned, girgensens should be playing in every game get him the experience and the time to prove he belongs in the NHL which he does.

Oh, by the way, Sekera and his Hurricanes play in Buffalo September tonight.
