Good write up Michael. Douche from st. Pete must have crawled back under that rock that he's from. Wish I could have watched, but it's preseason and I don't have the sports package right now anyways. Erne sound like a real jewel, but a couple years of seasoning will do him good.

Did anyone see the game live? Hearing a bunch of Blues fans mad that the Blues did not go after Erne after the hit on Sobodka. Wondering how bad it was/if there looked like intent on his hit to the head.

Didn't see it, only hearing others opinion on it. Can't make a call either way. I don't believe there was intent, but if the head is principle point of contact then he should get suspended. I wouldn't have had to much issue if someone went after him, just remember though that someone on TBay may take exception to that. Plus it's not like Adam Erne is a midget, he's 6'1" and 211 lbs so he can handle himself. There's always next game.

Yep. Unfortunately I bet Erne doesn't dress Friday night in St. Louis. I'll be disappointed if he isn't but I don't expect to see him on the ice at Scottrade.

The incident and Bishop (Hometown kid) playing may be enough to draw a decent pre-season crowd for a change. I hope so though I am just glad to get back to seeing hockey live again.
