Unfortunately, sounds like the league will probably suspend Erne, so he won't get what's coming to him; but expect a really chippy game considering it's preseason come Friday. Hitchcock called the team out for not standing up for Sobotka after the cheap headshot by Erne. You can expect everyone on the Blues trying to make an impression to take every chance they get to pound someone.

Not sure how it works, but I'm guessing he will have to be on the roster for games to count towards the suspension. Yzerman will probably just wait to send him back till after it's served, but still, not good for Erne considering history is taken into account next time he pulls that sort of crap.
