I would have rather of them had that earlier in the season, the Leafs don't play the wings enough before the winter class.

I agree, the Wings are a good team to test themselves against to end the preseason, and it's also cool for the old rivarly's sake that they set it up like that.

The Sandler bit is so classic...so hilarious that he of all people takes the time to just rip Ottawa with a tune, I'd forgotten all about that until now,,,even though it's a chirp it is actually pretty cool for Ottawa

I still remember his nice shot that went between the Russian goalie's leg's to win the gold for the US in 1980. Lot of good players on that US team went on to long solid careers.
