Reports are that he finally progressed to being able to skate in a straight line without symptoms.

Just hope the dude can lead a normal second half of his life.

Question. I'm not being sarcastic. Would you willingly take Prongers symptons for the rest of your life for 40 million dollars?

No. Not a chance. I'm going to be a father in a month and a half, and I want to be able to be an active part of her life without wondering if I'm going to experience nausea every time I turn around to look at her.

Always. Problem is the higher you go the more you piss off those you go above. I would like to get a bonus this year... And both the people I talked to are the ones who decide it.
After a bit you lose no matter what you do. Corporate world blows, and no it's still not equal out here fellas. It's better but many of the women who have "made it" are harder on the women beneath them than a man would be. Sad part is I'm damn good at what I do. So all feedback on my performance is stellar.
Maybe I can get a job cleaning up MOAT's brushes or something...

I work for a major Corporate Bank.

My Direct Manager is a woman.
My Managers manager who is the department head is a woman
and the Department head reports to Managing Director who.... is a woman.

Yep they exist, but if you count them up across the board, still a minority. I'm not female doging just stating facts. And strangely you might do better with a woman as a boss than a man.

I think that is very selfish of you. You are willing to turn away significant amount of money that could change your daughters life just because you want to watch her? Think about the excellent education you could give her, the life experience of being able to go to the countries she reads about in school. Of not having to start her life in debt. Think about how you could be home everyday after she gets home from school instead of slaving away at a job. Sure you might not be able to chase her around the yard, but Dad will be there, and he did it for me....

Well that is because there are fewer Women that persue high level Corporate jobs. When you do, you almost have to kiss any opertunity at family goodbye. Its just not a job field Women are very active in unlike lawyers and doctors.

thinking about that whole night just cracks me up

Lukin was dissing Heiniken so I started drinking his Yuenglings. After my second bottle he was giving me the stink eye.

- Marc D

Yeah, Hexy brought all the Heineken and dumped it in my cooler and drank all the Moosehead. I ended up giving all the Hieneken to Flyguy's lovely wife at the end of the night.

I can pick out about 30 things that i can still talk about and laugh.

Konan and Manning still there, Alt is not.
No real big surprises for the forwards really.

One goalie is gone. A couple of forwards missing but the big names still seem to be there. Still a lot more than 24/28 players listed.

Well if that's selfish, that I want to be able to fully enjoy my life and to be able to do everything possible in my daughter's life instead of having a lump sum of money, so be it.

I read a very good quote about kids:

"If you bungle raising your children, I don't think whatever else you do matters very much."

All the money in the world won't help you raise a better kid.

Money's nice and certainly helps things (but can also lead to problems), but I'd prefer to lead a healthy life and get to enjoy every moment as much as possible.

I don't have kids, and I don't plan on having kids for 2 reasons. First is my wife and I aren't the healthiest people and I wouldnt want to bring in a child into our health issues. Second, despite having a decent job, we dont have enough money to have a kid without government aid. And I will not go on government aid.

Too me you can still be a large part of a kid's life even if you can't be very active. There's a lot you can do in life that wont be affected by PCS. But i would think about all the good the money could do... Best private schools. Tutors. Money to persue any sport they like. Taking them to events they normally wouldnt be able to go to. Giving them life experience in many social situations.... 40 million would just be too much for me to pass up for some headaches and nausia for the rest of my life....

Save that when you meet her first boyfriend or when she gets a tattoo on her face.
