You have Vancouver finishing 1st in the Pacific? They actually belong to a real division now, rather than the joke that was the Northwest division. I think they will finish 4th at best, with LA, San Jose, and Anaheim finishing above them, and they will be fighting Phoenix and Edmonton for the final playoff spot. Calgary will carry up the rear and finish the season with 11 points. |

Just looking at your predictions.
It seems that you have five from one division and three from the other making the playoffs.
Correct me if I'm wrong... but isn't the new format 4 from each division make the playoffs. - mlindsay
nope. top 3 from each division make it, then the remaining 2 spots can be from wherever. two from one division and 0 from the other or 1 from each. |

I like Raymond. Wish the Sens took a chance on him. He won't cost an arm and a leg and could easily hit the 20 goal mark playing on a solid line. Nothing wrong with adding a player who can play on your 2nd or 3rd line and produce. |

I think you stayed the same. Losing Schneider won't hurt... You'll soon remember that Luongo is actually better than Schneider. Adding Horvat is/was also a good move.

Depends if any of young guys (Kassian, Schroeder, Tanev, Corrado) take the next step, or whether Tortarella can fix the cluster(frank) D pairings and PP that AV and Co. implemented last season.
If either one of those happen there should be a marginal improvement.
If both happen the Canucks should easily be better than the last two seasons.
If neither happens it'll be another 1st round exit. |

In regards to the Canucks, simply put, I like their defense better than I do the Kings, Sharks or Ducks. Offensively they're about equal to the Kings and Sharks. I like Lou better than Niemi, not as good as Quick. However a core of Edler, Bieksa, Hamhuis, and Garrison on D better than Doughty, Voynov, Muzzin, etc.
I could be wrong, I very well could be. That's the fun of it all |

The oilers will not be worse than the ducks or coyotes - Oilers42
Yes they will, because they have been for a while. Oilers are very talented, but still they won't succeed. Guys are too young, not strong enough to succeed at competing without the proper direction of great veteran players. Ducks are going to be much better than oilers, maybe not coyotes, but ducks for sure.

Hahaha. Toronto Fans never fail at overrating their new players. Mason Raymond is third line caliber player and that's where he will most likely stay...Er... I mean, if he actually makes the team. - PtotheY
So, since that's what pretty much every Leafs fan has being saying... are you also guilty of overrating him?
(Just curious) |
