I've had it for 4 years and no antivirus program to bother with and no problems. I hate windows. I've had nothing but viruses and norton was useless. And its slow.

no I am not saying you wont, its a lot less likely since majority of the world using Windows. Almost all viruses and what are created for windows based operating systems. But its definitely possible, Ive just meet a lot of people of the years who think its impossible since they have a Mac.
