The Good:
Grabner, he looked like he was in mid season form
Nilsson looked strong, neither goal was his fault. At this point he looks better than Poulin.
Reinhart. This kid will be ready next year. He made mistakes yes but subtle mistakes that can easily be fixed.
Donovan. Hes ready
De Haan. It sucks that him donovan and Hickey are all the same type of player, if it wasn't for donovan he would make the team.
Nielsen looked well, linemates - no
Pulock is obvious going back to Juniors, but he impressed me. Calm defensively, got in the dirty areas, great positionally, and did above average offensively.
Cruton - who is this guy? he was flying
Persson - had bad linemates but he was all over the place, he'll be a good bottom 6 some day

The Bad:
Amac was our 5th best defenseman tonight, and thats not exaggerating or being dishonest. Terrible on the PP and had a lot of turnovers
Kabanov can stick handle in a phone booth but he just cant put it together for whatever reason
Poulin either looks like an NHL starter, or 5 minutes later he looks like Nabby in the playoffs
Bailey and KO were completely out of sync

The Ugly:
Carkner.

Apparently Clutterbucks leg was cut, but nothing serious, just precaution

A guy like Grabner is always going to look good compared to others in early games, because first day back from summer on the beach, he's going to be faster than everyone else. That said, there's no excuse this year for Bailey or Okposo- we can't afford to have them sh*t the bed for the first 25 games this season. I just hope that once the whole real team gets on the ice for a game, someone might kick them in the a$$.

Doing the f***ing Sudsie rain dance in the crease again, eh? We need to bring in an old Zen master from Japan, to hit him in the back of the head with a bamboo stick every time he moves when he should be standing in front of the net.

I know its only pre season but if he continues this in October we need to make a trade. This is Poulins last chance
