Fosco asked for a candle vigil for Ians blog.

Fosco is not banned (not to my knowledge). He doesn't post in Todd's forum. I just thought it interesting that you can have polar opposite opinions of a player's performance.

I wasn't talking about you personally. I was referring to the royal 'you'. The comparison was between Fosco and the Hawk guy. One mentioned Jensen as 'the most ready NHLer out of the bunch' and the other stated Jensen as 'not even close to being ready'.

Unfortunately they were posted in opposing threads. Not sure we have the posters to fill two blog threads. Kind of dividing the talent.

We have about as much talent... as the Hanson Brothers have teeth... which is to say, not much.

I don't think Jensen is ready. There are a few more games to prove me wrong and I hope he does of course, but the portion of the game that I watched had me thinking Shinkaruk was the player I was hoping Jensen would have been this summer (minus the size). Again, there's time.

I don't think any of the "young" players are ready to make the jump, and I'm ok with that. As much as fans want the team to "get younger", I think the younger happened already, and will happen again next year.

As Eklund can attest to, Raymond has been one of the most trade speculative players within the last 5 years. That type of interest doesn’t happen for someone who can’t play.

In Toronto, he would fill a need that was left vacant when Matt Frattin was traded. Someone who can play on both the top 6 and bottom 6 type forward...

- Adam Kirshenblatt

Interest?

And when could Raymond fill a top 6 and bottom 6 role? I always thought he didn't fit either position.

I'm confused.

Ya, Cheez Whiz is for kids and bikers. If you want spreadable cheese, I suggest MacLearn's Imperial Sharp Chedder, and I'm pretty sure Ian would agree.
