The Government of Canada is building a new bridge corridor to replace the existing Champlain Bridge in Montreal. Work to be undertaken as part of this $3.5 to $5 billion PPP includes the replacement of a 3.4 km main span, a second 470 m crossing, and a 3.5 km elevated highway. The project will replace one of the busiest bridges in Canada and is expected to be in service by 2021. |
