Reports are that Ilya Bryzgalov is in lunar orbit on his way back to Philadelphia after that goal allowed by Mason.

One last time...

Do you believe that more undrafted players would make NHL rosters if they got the same level of attention, the same number of opportunities to show their worth, the same amount of coaching and personal attention as the high draft picks? It's that simple.

Not asking if they deserve the same amount of attention. Not asking if they will be noticed by other teams or not. Not asking if you think they are stopped from making the NHL due to the level of attention they currently get. Simply asking if you believe more undrafted players would make NHL rosters than is currently the case if they got all the same advantages as the high draft picks? Yes or no?

No it's not that simple in my opinion. I think I've addressed that multiple times. You have your opinion, I have mine.

I agree with a lot what you're saying. The Flyers breakout has struggled, and they haven't played with a lot of forecheck pressure, nor generated a lot of offense. But it's a hodgepodge of players, and it's Pre Season. They're playing a very basic style of Hockey. Not sure if you can blame the Coaches right now. I'm more focused on looking at individual players, rather then looking for a cohesive team effort.
- MJL

That's where I am. I'm looking at individual performances and maybe some chemistry between players for down the road. I'm looking at who's hungry and who's making smart plays. The defense is missing half of their starters and the offense is really makeshift.

Typical Pinotch. Spearheading the charge to put unrealistic expectations on the kid in the media. Putting it out to 85% of the fanbase who think now if the kid gets sent down hes on his way to bust.

I have some faith this time the Flyers brass dont intend to rush the kid

I'm pretty sure he'll be playing 4th line winger by christmas.

From what I've seen so far....just being at the game last night and catching some of tonights game. I see no one except Talbot capable of filling that 3rd line role.

I think Talbot looks real good. I've said it multiple times, I think he's better then a 4th line player, and deserves a bigger role. Raffl looks okay also.

Keep in mind those guys are also playing with other guys trying to fill the same role. I think Raffl looks OK, I thought Laughton looked OK, no one is jumping out to me, but I think the flyers have plenty of options for their forwards for the time ring. Their defense is deep and can be use to fill a need up front later.

I agree with you. Was just hoping to see the same jump from our youngsters as I see out of the Rangers younger guys. That said it's preseason and I'm half asleep on the couch. No reason for fans to get overly emotional one way or another in these games.

Does Paul Holmgren think Sam Morin can make the #Flyers' roster right now? @TPanotchCSN has the story: http://ow.ly/oXWFT #FlyersTalk

Edit: oops, story is actually about Homer saying Morin has a slim chance

It is simple (my question that is). You're just avoiding answering it. Yes it's impossible, or at least impractical. I agree with that. But how can you seriously argue that the same advantages afforded high draft picks would not help undrafted players perform better, and ultimately result in more of them making the team? You are essentially saying that those players are beyond help, and that more coaching and attention would not benefit them. That seems highly unlikely to me.

Sorry I dont see it. I think they wanted to get bigger on that 3rd line on the wing. Not going to happen unless they trading for it
