I loved the krejci, lucic, iginla, krug line on the pp. It looks like Krug could finally be that power play defensemen we have been dieing for.

Krüg has to prove he can consistently score on other goalies besides King Henry. But seriously, he's the reason Claude is putting Z down low.

They weren't even rolling a second unit of Marchand/Bergeron/Eriksson. Add Big Z to that list and we could be in for some fireworks on the PP this season.

I think right now the acquisitions of Iginla and Eriksson make this team a lot better than if they had kept Seguin.

Absolutely, could be great. But it is early and our pp hasn't been great for awhile now. I guess I'm optimistically excited

The Krecji line with Iggy looked awesome last night. It was crazy that we even got to witness the rare and beautiful creature known as the....power play. I had only heard the old tales of such a thing.

Also thinking Soderberg may need some more time to adapt. Still looks lost out there and took some dumb penalties.

Without going overboard for preseason, I did like how the Krejci line was working together last night. Krug and Bartkowski stood out on defense for me as a positive, and Spooner is pretty quick (for a Bruins player).

I don't like Chad Johnson as a backup, I have never seen Svedberg play but he was voted AHL goalie of the year last season. I can't even imagine how nervous M. Subban must have been last night so I was happy to see him have a good showing.

Pissed tomorrows game is not on TV, I'm drying to see Eriksson play.

Pretty sure you have the east wrapped up again. Make sure to send a thank you note to shero for signing old man playoff no show dupuis to one of the worst contracts in the nhl because "hes a pittsburgh guy" LOL. I cant wait to watch iggy rape us in the playoffs. Watching bylsma get the hook will be the start of fixing this team. Paying a PKer 4 mil should get shero fired as well, I can only hope. Anyways enjoy the ride to the finals again guys, its going to be easy, DET is the only other team in the east that is even close to good.

Thanks for the kind words but it is way to early for that kind of talk.
It was a decent game, just that it is still the pre season. If we are playing this well come March then I will be a happy camper
It would be really cool if we had a power play this year....one can dream
