Nice to see that Dea earned a contract. If he has another really good year in junior and fills out even more, he could be a nice free agent pickup for the Pens. The guy can skate.

This is a very nice article on the most impactful player in the history of the Pittsburgh Penguins organization, do you guys really think its a coincidence we haven't won a game since we insulted Cooke by not making a play for him and letting him walk away? This is an absolute shame.

Has anyone thought about what its going to be like to play Washington with out Matt Cooke?
Or how about Philly?

If all that happens through the Cooke curse is that the Penguins lose a couple of exhibition games...I think we'll survive.

I kept hoping Detroit was going to throw a line full of hurdles out for a couple shifts last night so Letang could jump over them with ease, but alas, that never happened. Gee whiz. A guy does all that training to improve his game, and the opponent won't play along!
