After last night's episode, I think I might need a therapist.

Just when you thought bad stuff would stop happening, more bad stuff happened.

So you watch it for the same reason people watch COPS? To feel better about your own poopty life?
- FlyersGrace

No, don't be silly.

I don't watch TV to feel better about my poopty life. I drink to do that.

"Breaking Bad" just upped the ante for good storytelling, though.

Not for me..
I am watching one of , if not the greatest, acting performances ever by Bryan Cranston.

- opeth_pa

Cranston basically put on an acting master class in last night's episode.

It was a non-funny, subtle reference to Chubak.
If it was Hammarby I'd have eluded to god in net.

Good to know. I'm not trying to downplay it. I've personally never seen it. But if it's not sci/fi, fantasy, or horror it usually takes a back seat.

Between Breaking Bad, Game Of Thrones, Sons Of Anarchy, The Walking Dead, Mad Men, and Supernatural, we are in another golden age of TV drama right now.

Walking Dead is the only thing on that list I watch religiously. Who wouldn't want to dream about Daryl?
As for Game of Thrones I don't have HBO, even so I'm a touch scared to tarnish my love of the books. Someday I'll sit down and watch it but not yet. I don't want it influencing my imagination as to what people look like.

I'm allowed to ignore pre-season if I choose. So I have until 10/2...

The TV dramas are just far better and more original than anything showing in a movie theater (a dying experience, for my money) these days.

Well, sure, but you'll miss the useless arguments about who should have or should not have made the roster.

The real probelm is that movies take so much money to make that producers are leery of original ideas. I have no desire to see the 3rd sequel of a movie I've already seen...

I just have to say Breaking Bad is the greatest TV drama ever.
Anyone not watching it is missing out on something special.

OMG that show last night was freaking awesome.... never have a seen such an intense episode on television... Hell the credits didn't start rolling until 25 minutes into the show.... I was litterally on the edge of my seat. Best show of all time.

I'm keeping tabs on the Naval yards shooting.
CNN reporting 12 dead now.
Up to 2 suspects still at large. One suspect dead.
This is crazy!

Some great TV on right now.

Boardwalk Empire... I love it.
Breaking Bad... OMG will surpass 24, lost, prison break as the greatest drama tv series ever.
Dexter... Not as good as first few years, but still a great series.
Ray Donovan... Good show
Homeland and walking dead come on soon too.

Cant wait for Californiacation, and Shameless to return.

You know... That is actually why I like what Disney is doing with the Marvel franchises. Spinning them together, working from the same world. I can't wait until all marvel liscenses are back in the hands of marvel so they can do them all right.

Gives me a lot of hope for the Star Wars Franchise. First I think Abrams did a great job rebooting Star Trek without pissing off the original fan base. I just cant wait to see what happens.

I have read the books as well, and I must say, except for combining some minor characters, they stay almost religiously to the books. One of the benefits of dedicating an entire season to one book.
