So tell me...why was he not that impressed by Gunnarsson that he chose to play Holzer and Kotska with Phaneuf? If that doesn't say Gunnarsson shouldn't be there, I don't know what does.

Gunnarson had a bum hip last year. He was really limited in what he could do. He simply could not log the minutes that Phaneuf did. So Dion had multiple D partners...simple enough. Dion's best season was when he played with Gunnar. Can people just relax already?

You can look at it like this: Franson has been behind better players ever since he entered the league. Weber Suter...top players in the world so Franson obviously does get the chance to get top line minutes and for good reason. He gets to T.O.,, same thing Phanny and Gunner ( who is D only no offence which is great with Phanny ) so I can see where people think Franson has room to improve and Gunner who has gotten 1st line minutes and not really showed anything offensively. I don't really care...I think the team is better with Franson playing like he did last year. HE IS NOT THAT BAD DEFENSIVELY - I keep seeing posters talking how bad he looks against Malkin/Crosby etc...(frank) no poop sherlocks who doesn't look bad...our #1 D PHANNY is booed by 1/2 the fans nightly, not to many D on the planet can handle Crosby/Malkin most nights...so to say Franson looks weak against them is really reaching IMHO wow I'm tired!!!!
