Morgan Rielly's skills remind me of Brian Leetch, when he started out with the Rangers. If he turns out even close to Leetch, we'll have something special. |

Kadri will surpass Bozak this season as our #1 centerman. - ThePresident
That's what I'm saying |

Kadri won't move up though, because bozak sucks and we need balance. |

Bozak would make a great #2 center, I still believe that is the plan going forward. He's signed to a contract that is #2 center friendly as well. |

He seemed to be on another talent level, then most of the players that the Leafs dressed tonight. I want to see him with the big team for a few games, to see if he can move the puck and make great passes against NHL caliber players. Tonight, he made some good passes, but the AHL/Junior caliber players didn't understand how this guy was thinking. They'd either be in the wrong spot or just miss the play.
On another player, Tyler Biggs doesn't look even close to being ready to compete for a job. He was one of the worst players on the ice tonight.
Overall, my biggest observation was noticing that Cody Franson better get himself back into the lineup. Ranger looks ready to compete for his job, as will Rielly.

I expect more from Kadri.
That should be accomplished by game 5

Respectfully disagree. I don't think Bozak can produce (frank)-all without kessel.
I also think carlyle doesn't see it as a "line 1, line 2" tandem anyways. Its line 1a and 1b. Besides, Carlyle is known to mess with lines anyways. They rarely stay the same for long stretches. |

Definitly want franson to sign soon. Hopefully he can get some of camp b4 the reg season. Maybe he wants a trade. When he passed on arb it told me he wanted big contract or to b traded |

Idk, I don't think we've ever really seen him without Kessel on his wing so we'd have to try him out to see. We have some pretty good wingers on the 2nd line that could make his game look good as well. I would just really love to see the magic Kadri and Kessel would make playing fulltime together. The opposing defense wouldn't know who to cover. |

Yeah, I do agree. That makes sense. But I like kadri and Lupul together. Kessel and Bozak should also remain together. I don't have any faith in Bozak, but he can prove me wrong, and I'll admit it. Just dont see it. |

In other words, they wouldn't zero in on Kessel. It would give them more space to get open, or create something. |

That Kaleta guy sounds terrifying. I hope the Leafs never have to go up against him. |

the thing about Jr goalies is they are very consistent. the play did drop out in the third tho, Reimer has some work to do - Jay Uller
Yeah Reimer didn't look too hot tonight, I expected better from somebody that is fighting for their job. Can't wait to see how Bernier does. |
