with mez being the expiring contract i can see him being traded because the canes need help immediately with pitkanen being out for the season

I agree. If they trade Grossman they only have Streit, Coburn, Schenn and Gus coming back. That's scary thin.

Didn't the canes just pick up hainsey? Not saying he's the answer, but they picked him up right after the pitkanen injury.

If the Flyers think Mesz is healthy, I think he stays. He has the expiring contract, and overall is better suited to play Lavi's system.

That's if Lavi stays
