Really? No blog about either game last night. I was waiting for one. To post on. I wanted to know what you guys thought of the goalies. I know game one with a divided team doesn't tell you much but I am thinking at some point in time Roy might be a lost cause. That guys was everywhere but where he should be. He had a bigger five hole than... well now that we have a ref I will not fill not finish it but it would have been funny.

Did anyone find the stats on how Hall did with faceoffs? I can't see it anywhere. Perron looked sharp, still think the second round draft pick should have came our way for a concussion problem older guy but he might be what we need if his health problem days are over. Jonsseau looked like he could compete for line 4.

Did Belov play because Greb looked like the old Greb. I felt some of the rookies looked a lot better than he did out there and they were terrible in the rookie tournament (for the most part).

I am surprised the Hemsky made it past the warm up of the first preseason game. Any word if he is out for the season? That guy should be wrapped in nerf before put being put on the ice. He would still be faster than Smyth. They plan on giving Smyth more ice time from what I here. He may even see some PP minutes. Which means my Smyth wrap around drinking game might start affecting my work.

Not much to get out of a game where they are trying to play rookies but that goal Dubey let in was not encouraging. In fact non of our goalies looked great. I was impressed by our defense for the most part. A lot of rookies with some future to them.
