Hall is the #1 LW in the game, because of his speed... When you're that good at a position, I don't want to frig around and test him out somewhere else... Hall will not be as effective at C, because he'd have to slow his game down... Hall is speed. Speed is Hall. If I were testing anyone out at C, it would have been Eberle.

You know I can't even argue that. He is the best he is at what he does, and what he does is kill it at left wing.

Agree people saying this game is meaningless are stupid it's meaningless from a team prospective but not from a player development perspective

Someone else mentioned trying Eberle out at center yesterday, and imo he/she was right. Eberle has played center before, he seems to be more of a cerebral player, and he doesn't rely on speed as much... Leave Hall alone, and if you must experiment with someone at center, make it Ebs.

Very true. Let Hall go back to LW now, instead of starting him off cold in that position come October.

I honestly think Hall has the biggest chance at success at center.

Possibly, but you have to also consider what you'd be losing... The best LW in the game. I don't want to mess with what made Hall the best LW in the NHL. His game is made for the wing.

Say Perron is an 8 on wing, and a 7 when moved to center. Hall is a 10 on the wing, and moved to center he was an 8 there. I'd rather keep the 10 on the wing, and take the slightly less effective Perron at 7.

True, but your not losing him completely, if at all. Being strong down the middle is important, and going a month or so with no depth at center could hurt the team more than not having Hall on the wing for the same amount of time. It's worth a shot and I would think if it's not working it won't last long.

Ya well, we will just have to wait and see what happens. If they want hall to play centre, he's gonna play centre.

Starting the season with Gagner-Gordon-Lander-someone worse than Lander is bad.

I don't wanna (frank) with Hall's game... Let him continue to dominate the wing, and give Perron center for a month (if RNH is out that long). God dammit, I can see it now... I'm going to have to run this team. Dad Katz, consider this my application.

Throw Perron in there until RNH is ready to return.

Gagner-Perron-Gordon-Lander

1-4 weeks later
