I must say, this is one of the most authentic feeling hockey games EA has come up with yet. If you haven't got it you should consider doing so.

I will answer your guys never-ending question of how he scored Vanek's 21st and 22nd goals in 2 games.

When you play online, it randomly generates a number for goals scored in a season (It is almost never the right amount), just so it looks more like a realistic box score.

Next game, it might be Vanek's 5th and 6th goal. It is just a random number, not an actual statistic of anything Vanek has done in his career.

Being obsessed with the NHL series, I figured I'd clear it all up for everyone.

And Kevin, what is your GT? I'd like to play ya.

Drew Stafford has 85 up and down his card in Ultimate Team, so he is likely 85 overall. Ehrhoff I believe is 84.. If I can recall.

Seriously? Read this paragraph again and explain how this makes sense...

"It's time to choose a captain. With less than three weeks to go, the Sabres have yet to determine who will be their captain this season. Ron Rolston said that he would rotate the "C" throughout the preseason and training camp, but still has yet to decide who will get it permanently."

So it is time for Rolston to pick a Captain, although he said he would rotate them through training camp and the preseason, which he is ONE WEEK into.

Maybe for once he is making them earn their status as Captain, whomever it may be this year. I am happy he is not just gift-wrapping such an important role.

and no, NHL 14 is not good. it sucks.

No Joel Armia in the game? Zadorov rated higher than Ristolainen. EA NHL does a HORRIBLE job with rosters...Madden puts in serious work and it shows. They have updates every week with hundreds of moves and changes. Kevin Porter's picture is Mark Mancari, who is with Vancouver now I believe. Alex Biega, David Leggio, and a few others are still on the Amerks, but are gone in real life. Its a joke.
