Jagr will be useful (if nothing but the trade deadline), but we're allowed to overreact or else we'd have nothing to discuss.

Brunner has worth beyond this year, so a 2-3 year contract would be great. I know he doesn't technically "fit in" with the bloated contracts the Devils already have to made work, but if someone has to mire on the 3rd line for a year until Jagr retires, then so be it.

Amnesty Volchenkov, sign Brunner, make glue out of Jagr. 2 shifts? Really?

Gagne still has a good shot and is a far better two way player then Brunner I think if we are looking for a third line winger it fits the bill better the Brunner. I just think he makes more sense for the role we would be offering him then Brunner.
