Great...that's all we need. Another poster trying to out write a blogger.

You been to The Works burger joint downtown yet?

It's good, and always packed - good service too. Take an appetite with you and be prepared to hit the gym next day to wear off the poutine and onion rings.

I love good burger joints, nothing better. I dont care how bad that poop is for me, but nothing beats burgers, fries, onion rings.

Queue Petula Clark.

The place you go...

When you're alone and life is making you lonely
You can always go downtown
When you've got worries, all the noise and the hurry
Seems to help, I know, downtown

an honest, modest-sized hamburger really is not bad for you and never was. it's not the healthiest food and it's relatively high in saturated fat, but any red meat is. burgers get a bad rap. it's when burgers reach 1/2 lb. status and are covered in 4 slices of cheese, 6 strips of bacon and mayonnaise when they become gut busters. but IMO at that point, you're defeating the purpose of eating a hamburger.

That's part of the point. It's all the stuff we put on it. Though Im usually modest in my toppings, the other part of the point is the fries with gravy (or poutine) and the onion rings. My burgers are always accompanied by fried foods, and a fair amount of condiments. I think you misunderstood and missed the burger joint part and thought we meant burgers alone.

I disagree with it defeating the purpose. Its a sandwich, for the most part. Load it up with whatever you like. If you want to eat meat for the sake of eating meat alone, (frank) burgers. Have a steak.

Redundant blog turns into conversation about hamburger calories and toppings. Hockey needs to start now or there's going to be Syrian diatribes crawling all over HB. Go Leafs Go. Habs suck. Sens are Poor. The three teams in the middle of the country won't make the playoffs and Vancouver will be out in the second round.

There are no thoughts on this blog. This is a re-reporting of a news story that took place 2 days prior.

What up with that?
