Speaking of crazy, still think the Steelers are a playoff team? - canadianpenfan
They are toast. Bills have a brighter outlook for this specific season than the Steelers after that Pouncey injury
Todd Haley is a bum. |

They were in trouble well before the Pouncey injury. How they went into the season with that group of backs and Haley still at the helm is beyond me. |

They looked like they wore themselves down a bit and Redskins made adjustments to slow them. I don't think it will have that same kind of success now that it's on tape. - dbell646
To clarify, I stand by my summer long prediction that the Eagles will improve to win five games this season. |

The only problem i saw beside the concern that they can't keep it up or that other teams will figure them out...
They only use 3 players. If Vick gets hurt, and he will, that offense will not work. |

Agreed. I'm not even lowballing them because the 'Chip Kelly is a gimmick' thing (hey, anything can work if you do it well enough). I just don't think the Eagles are a good team, on the short and long term. |

I'd still take the steelers. Quarterback league Big Ben can win a few games if he can stay upright. Agreed on Haley. Young line hopefully they come together after pouncey injury. But if we are missing playoffs I hope they miss big time and land a top 5 pick |

Kobasew could be a good addition to the third line. He plays with speed, a little bit of grit, and is sound defensively. This team doesn't need him to score 20, but it would be an added bonus. If he makes the team, officially say goodbye to Glass. - cap1681
Kobasew was terrible with his time with the Avs, dont sign this guy, waste of a roster spot. Defensive libabilty now |

The Pats made alot of mistakes but the Bills looked better than I expected, especially EJ. He made some really nice throws. |

Don't get to hyped on him just yet. I think New England is a tad overrated. He was solid in his debut tho. But there is no comparison at this point Ben is a franchise qb |

Nope especially not without Pouncey and Foote. Line could gel and surprise us but Haley's offense is just disgusting. I also still dont think the Dolphins are!! Steel up Fins Down - dbell646
This is what "Cap Hell" looks like in the NFL. The Steelers are going to pay for all those restructured deals the last several years. It's looking like it's going to be a rough couple years of rebuilding.
The Haley experiment is one of the worst management decisions in the last couple of decades IMO. It's hard for me to hold Tomlin responsible for the poor O considering Haley was shoved down his throat. |

Ok quick...
You're on a desert island with only 1 boat. It will only hold 2 people before it sinks in the ocean. You look beside you and see Haley and Bylsma both crying, pleading with you to choose them.
Who gets on the boat with you? |

Yea and I'm ok with it. They went all in and won a super bowl and lost another can't ask for anything more. Hopefully they get some top 10 picks in the next 2-3 years. And Tomlin can not be held accountable for Haley he wanted no parts of him it was the Rooneys. The look of disgust on Tomlins face during the play calling last week really spoke volumes. We've been spoiled and they are rebuilding in a time where I've kind of lost my love for football because of twitter and the ignorant athletes the NFL employs. I'm enjoying the hell out of the Pirates and now the Pens opened camp. Steelers could go 0-16 and it wouldn't bother me one bit |

Lol... Coaching ability aside, at least Dan Bylsma by all accounts is a good guy. Haley just seems like an a-hole. |

I'd take Haley. At least I wouldn't feel bad before I cut him up and used him for bait. Gonna need to eat out there... |

This is how I feel. They tried to get every drop of "winning" out of the last core of players......hard to blame them for that. Exactly right, you can blame the Rooney's for Haley. He's basically neutered their best player. Makes no sense at all. They're certainly not superbowl caliber or even playoff worthy. Might as well lose bad and get plenty of high picks. |

Bylsma, at least he doesn't seem like a total jerk.
And I cant stand the way Bylsma coaches. |
